Price

$40-60 Sliding Scale Treatments
~We are not currently accepting New Patients~

We offer a sliding scale so many people can access treatment. On average we need $45-50/treatment to sustain the clinic, support the low end of the scale and pay us a living wage. If you have a higher income, pay on the higher end.

The scheduler will hold your appointment with a credit card, payment is due at your appointment. We charge a 3% processing fee for all credit/debit/HSA cards.

Our cancellation policy asks that you cancel or change your appointment 24-hours in advance for acupuncture otherwise the cost of the appointment will be applied.

We do not offer refunds.

Location

Our new and temporary clinic space is in a very small and cozy suite in The Historic Y. Our new address is 748 N. 5th Avenue Suite 210 (2nd floor).

There is plenty of free parking in The Historic Y’s parking lot on the east side of the building and some one 5th Avenue. Please be aware that most of the University corridor has zoned permit parking. The building is ADA accessible from a ramp in the parking lot, but our Suite is not. On Fridays, we have ADA accessible treatments on the 1st floor, off the main lobby in the conference room. There will be signs. 

If coming from I-10, take the Speedway exit and head east to Stone Ave to University Blvd. We are very close to 4th Ave and downtown Tucson. Our location is super bike friendly, and there are bike racks in the Y’s courtyard, accessed via University Blvd.

We have gone back to a sliding scale ($30-60) so that treatments are financially accessible to more patients, and the clinic is sustainable (running a community clinic means high overhead!). Please choose a rate that works for you to ensure frequent and consistent acupuncture. Also please keep in mind this is how TACO staff and practitioners make a living, and we want to ensure a living wage for all staff.  A good rule of thumb: yearly salary <$36,000 = $30 treatment, <$45,000 = $35 treatment <$55,000 = $40 treatment etc.

Looking for ways to help out your local community clinic? We are always looking for laundry volunteers! It’s a very low-commitment way to help us out if you have time and a washer/dryer at home. Ask the front-desk or your acupuncturist for details when you’re next in.
