The spread of coronavirus has many people concerned. At TACO, patients and staff come first and we want everyone to feel safe here. We are hoping to remain open to serve our community and we ask for your help in keeping yourself safe.
We are now strongly encouraging any patients who are immunocompromised, patients with underlying conditions, or with close family members with underlying conditions to postpone their appointments for now. We also ask patients to please inform us if they become ill within 2 weeks of receiving a treatment in our clinic so we can take appropriate measures.
Ways to reduce the chances of spreading a cold or the flu: Wash your hands often. Always cough or sneeze into your elbow or a tissue. Avoid touching your face. Dispose of used tissues immediately.
At our clinics, our staff and volunteers are also washing our hands as much as we can, stepping up our frequent cleaning/disinfecting of clinic surfaces, and staying home if we are sick. We will be changing sheets between each patient so there is no need to bring your own linens. Right now, we have discontinued the use of space blankets and are cranking up the heat instead, though we do have some brand new ones for sale ($5) while supplies last.
If you have any symptoms of a cold or flu, please stay home and rest. (If you arrive at the clinic with symptoms of a cold or flu, we will need to reschedule your appointment.) If you have a fever, body aches, difficulty breathing, a persistent cough, vomiting or diarrhea, please stay home and contact your general practitioner. We cannot treat coronavirus at TACO.
If you are sick and you need to cancel your appointment, please let us know and we will waive the cancellation fee.

Please read the Welcome letter first as it provides essential information regarding how our clinic functions. You may wish to print this out for your own reference.
If possible, please also print and fill out the Health History Form and Informed Consent and bring them with you to your first appointment. Community Acupuncture depends upon your support. By helping us in this way, we have more time to focus on your health as opposed to shuffling papers. We are grateful for your participation in community acupuncture.
If you don’t have the time or ink to print these out and bring them with you, please arrive 15-20 minutes early to your first appointment and you can fill them out in our waiting room.

Missed Appointment / Cancellation Policy:
If you need to reschedule your appointment, please give us at least 24 hours notice. That way, your reserved recliner will be available for another person who may need a treatment at that time. If you do have to cancel with less notice than 24 hours (or don’t show up for your appointment), we ask that you pay for your missed appointment. If you have a pre-paid package, we will automatically deduct one treatment from that per missed appointment. Thank you so much for your understanding and cooperation!
