Our Practitioners

Cate Maxon, L.Ac. just moved back to Tucson from Portland, OR where she trained at POCA Tech, a community acupuncture school. She’s excited to be back in town and the Sonoran desert, where she has deep family roots. When Cate is not at the clinic, she enjoys spending time rebuilding a touring bike, working on her ole Toyota truck and is continually questing for the best porches and tacos in town.

Ellen Vincent, L.Ac. moved to Tucson in 2012 and is no stranger to community acupuncture. TACO is the third clinic Ellen has helped to open since she graduated from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in 2006. One of those clinics is still alive and well in Philadelphia, PA. Ellen is a nationally certified practitioner, and licensed to practice acupuncture as well as prescribe herbs in Arizona and Pennsylvania.  Her other full-time jobs include parenting her fourteen-year old daughter and trying to take her dogs out on frequent and regular walks.

Whitney Morgan, L.Ac. has lived in the southwest since the late 1990’s and been in Tucson for the last twenty years. She graduated from the Arizona School of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine and continued her education in the areas of functional medicine and nutrition. Recently, Whitney made the decision to close her private acupuncture practice and join us here at TACO, and she’ll be “sticking around” for a little while longer than we thought!
